Check-In

The check-in system is the core of daily range operations. Range Safety Officers (RSOs) and managers use it to track who is on the range, assign lanes, and manage active shooting parties.

Required module: Check-In (depends on Range Ops) Required role: RSO, Manager, or Admin

Navigate to Check-In in the left sidebar.

The check-in page has two main areas:

  • Active Parties — A live view of everyone currently on the range, organized by party.
  • New Check-In — Search for members or add guests to create a new shooting party.
  1. In the New Check-In section, search for a member by name, member number, or phone number.
  2. Select the member from the search results.
  3. The member’s profile summary appears — verify their identity and membership status.
  4. If the member has dependents, checkboxes appear for each one. Select any dependents joining them.
  5. Select an available lane from the lane picker.
  6. Click Check In.

A new party is created with the member (and any selected dependents) assigned to the chosen lane.

If your range requires PIN verification at check-in, the member will need to enter their personal PIN. PINs are set by members in their User Settings.

  1. In the New Check-In section, click Add Guest or switch to the guest check-in tab.
  2. Fill in the guest’s information:

The guest is added to a new party. If paying by Stripe, a QR code is displayed for the guest to scan and complete payment on their phone.

To add another member or guest to a party that’s already checked in:

  1. Find the active party in the Active Parties list.
  2. Click Add Person on that party.
  3. Search for a member or enter guest details.
  4. The new person is added to the same party and lane.

This is useful for late arrivals joining a group already on the range.

The Active Parties section shows all currently checked-in groups with:

  4. Confirm the move.

The party is reassigned immediately and the lane status updates.

  1. Find the party in the Active Parties list.
  2. Click Check Out.
  3. Confirm the checkout.

All members and guests in the party are checked out. The lane is released and becomes available for the next party. Session duration is recorded.

To check out one person from a party without ending the entire session:

  1. Find the party in the Active Parties list.
  2. Click on the individual person’s name.
  3. Click Check Out for just that person.

The remaining party members stay checked in on the same lane.

The check-in page shows a real-time view of all lanes and their current status:
